BIST 100 Index Started Friday with a Decrease
BIST 100 index started Friday with a decrease. BIST 100 index lost 0.14 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,413.12 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 1.91 points and 0.14 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.413.12 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.14 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.06 percent. Among the industry indices, tourism was the most profitable with 1.37 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on food and beverage with 1.99 percent.
With the negative divergence in Turkish lira assets on the
Borsa Istanbul yesterday, the BIST 100 index lost its value by 0.84 percent and finished the day at 1,415.03 points.
Analysts said that inflation concerns, the recovery in economies after the coronavirus epidemic and uncertainties regarding monetary policies caused a mixed course in global markets.
Today, it was stated that the intense data agenda, especially the financial stability report, foreign trade balance and economic confidence index in Turkey will be followed, while consumer confidence index in the Eurozone and personal income and expenditures in the USA will be followed abroad.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position and the level of 1.470 stands out as the resistance for the BIST 100 index.
