BIST 100 Index Started Friday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Friday with a rise. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.48 percent and started the day with 1.434.57 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 6.84 points and 0.48 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.434.57 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 0.46 percent, while the holding index gained 0.49 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the most profitable with 3.35 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 3.60 percent. The BIST 100 index gained 0.54 percent in Borsa Istanbul, which moved with buyers on Thursday, and closed the day with 1,427.73 points. Analysts stated that despite the growing expectations that interest rates might rise in line with inflation expectations around the world, buyers continued in the stock markets. Today, analysts stated that foreign trade indices and Treasury cash balance will be monitored domestically, and said that the data in April employment report to be announced in the US may have an impact on the direction of markets. On the technical side, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 is in the resistance position and the level of 1,390 is in support position for the BIST 100 index.
