BIST 100 Index Started Friday With an Increase
BIST 100 index started friday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.33 percent and started the day with 1.551.54 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 5.13 points and 0.33 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1.551.54 points.
While the banking index gained value by 0.01 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.18 percent. Among the industry indices, the highest earning was recorded on textiles with 1.58 percent, while the most decline was recorded on mining with 3.77 percent.

Borsa Istanbul, which was driven by buyers under the leadership of the industrial index, closed the day at 1,546.41 points, with an increase of 0.38 percent compared to the previous close.
Analysts said that before the G7 Leaders Summit to be held online today and the leading Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data to be announced worldwide, a mixed course was observed in global markets.
Analysts pointed to the importance of the messages to be given by the leaders at the G7 Leaders Summit due to the risk of mutation and concerns about the recovery of economies, even if the rate of increase in cases decreased in the coronavirus epidemic, and that the assessment of Turkey by the international rating agency Fitch Ratings, which is expected to be published after the market closure, is also on the agenda of investors.
Reminding that the international investment position data of the 4th quarter of 2020 will be monitored domestically today, analysts stated that the manufacturing and service sector PMI data to be announced worldwide will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.570 and 1.582 levels were in the resistance position and 1.525 level is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
