BIST100 Index Started the Day Horizontally

BIST100 index started the day horizontally. BIST 100 index started the day with 1,377.37 points in Borsa Istanbul.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which lost 0.05 points compared to the previous close, fell to 1.377.37 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 1.20 percent, while the holding index gained 1.04 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing was the most profitable with 3.74 percent, while the most decline was recorded on metal main industry with 7.12 percent. The BIST 100 index, which opened the day with a sharp decline yesterday and recovered most of its losses after the circuit breaker operation twice, closed the day at 1,377.43 points with a 0.13 percent loss compared to the previous closing. Analysts stated that yesterday, the effort to balance the stop loss orders came to the fore in the stock markets with the decrease in the stop-loss orders, and the response purchases outside the bank stocks strengthened. The analysts who stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's statements at the 7th Ordinary Grand Congress of the AK Party and the speech of the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve Jerome Powell are at the center of the agenda, the US and Europe Purchasing Managers Index and the orders of durable goods in the US will be monitored closely.
