BIST 100 Index Started The Day With A Decline

BIST 100 index, which lost 43.68 points and 2.93 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.444.53 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 2.64 percent at the opening, the holding index declined by 3.38 percent. While all sector indices started the day by losing value, financial leasing and factoring were recorded as the most depreciating with 6.01 percent.

Borsa Istanbul, which fluctuated on Thursday, closed the day with 1.488.21 points, gaining 0.35 percent compared to the previous closing, due to the positive outlook in banking stocks.
Analysts said that the sharp increase in the US '10-year bond yields caused a decrease in risk appetite in global markets and a selling pressure in stock markets and emerging country currencies, which are considered among the relatively risky assets.
Analysts stated that the foreign trade statistics data will be monitored in the country today, and that personal income and expenditures in the USA will be followed abroad. In addition, it was noted that the movements in the bond market will continue to have an impact on investor decisions.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.430 is in a support position fort he BIST 100 index while the level of 1.520 is in a resistance position.
