BIST100 Index Started the Day With A Decline
BIST100 index started the day with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost 0.15 percent and opened the day with 1.548.53 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 2.40 points and 0.15 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.548.53 points.
At the opening, the banking index lost 0.36 percent, while the holding index lost 0.10 percent. Among the industry indices, the most profitable was textile with 0.65 percent, while the most decline was recorded on construction with 0.76 percent.
Following the interest rate decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) yesterday, the BIST 100 index lost 0.72 percent in
Borsa Istanbul due to the fact that the buyers movement in the bank stocks did not spread to the general public and closed the day with 1.550.93 points.
Analysts stated that "the volatility in bond rates, the increasing number of cases in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, and the increasing tension between the USA and China, followed a negative course in global stock markets".
Stating that the data agenda seems stagnant today, analysts stated that the news flow regarding the 10-year bond interests of the USA and the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic remained at the center of the agenda.
Technically speaking, analysts stated that the level of 1,600 is in the resistance position, and the range of 1.550 and 1.520 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
