BIST 100 Index Started The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 index started the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.62 percent and opened the day with 1,450.52 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 9.06 points and 0.62 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 1.450.52 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.29 percent at the opening, the holding index also lost 0.33 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 0.24 percent, while the most decline was recorded on trade with 1.72 percent.

Borsa Istanbul, which was closed for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, closed the day on Tuesday at 1.459.57 points, with a value gain of 0.37 percent.
Analysts said the markets followed a mixed course after the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting on April 27-28 revealed that some members were ready to begin discussing the reduction in asset purchases.
Emphasizing that uncertainties regarding economic activity in the USA continue and this situation increases the need for market guidance by the FED, analysts stated that the expectations that the discussions on the reduction of the FED's asset purchases could start in the autumn were brought forward.
Today, it was stated that the international investment position, weekly money and bank statistics, weekly unemployment benefit applications in the USA and Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index will be monitored today.
Technically speaking, analysts said that the resistance position is 1,470 points and stated that the levels of 1.440 and 1.390 are in a support position for the BIST 100 index.
