BIST 100 Index Started The Day With A Rise

BIST 100 index started the day with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.48 percent and started the day with 1.558.03 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 7.42 points and 0.48 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.558.03 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 0.59 percent, while the holding index gained 0.36 percent. Among the industry indices, financial leasing and factoring gained the most with 4.03 percent, while electricity was the most declining with 1.61 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which acted with sellers on the first trading day of the week, closed the day with 1.550.61 points, decreasing by 0.62 percent compared to the previous close. Analysts stated that despite the positive news flow about the stimulus package in the USA, the increase in commodity prices and bond rates dissipates the positive atmosphere in global markets. Indicating that the domestic data agenda seems calm today, analysts stated that inflation in the Eurozone and consumer confidence index in the US will be monitored abroad in addition to the presentation of US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's Monetary Policy Report. In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.570 and 1.582 levels are in the resistance position and 1.525 level is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
