BIST 100 Index Started The Day With A Rise
BIST 100 index started the day with a rise. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.51 percent and started the day with 1,461.73 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which gained 7.49 points and 0.51 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1,461.73 points.
At the opening, the banking index gained 0.85 percent, while the holding index gained 0.69 percent. Among the sector indices, financial leasing and factoring gained the most with 0.92 percent, while the only loss was recorded on forest, paper and printing with 0.77 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at
Borsa Istanbul gained 0.90 percent, led by the support of the falling dollar exchange rate and the purchases of banking stocks, and closed the day at 1,454.25 points.
Analysts stated that inflation concerns continue to be the main factor in share market pricing, and that investors are trying to understand the tolerance of the US Federal Reserve (FED) to the price pressures faced by economies in the recovery phase.
Stating that the volatility in the bond market and the high course of commodity prices are closely monitored, analysts stated that today, domestic short-term foreign debt statistics, housing starts and construction permits in the USA and growth and foreign trade data in the Eurozone will be monitored. In addition, it was reminded that the domestic markets will be closed tomorrow due to the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.470 is in the resistance position, and the levels of 1.440 and 1.390 are in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
