BIST 100 Index Started The Day With An Increase On April 2

BIST 100 index started the day with an increase on April 2. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.59 percent and started the day with 1,434.91 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 8.35 points and 0.59 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.434.91 points. At the closing, the banking index gained 0.34 percent, while the holding index gained 0.71 percent. While financial leasing and factoring was the most profitable among the sector indices with 4.73 percent, none of the indices lost value. BIST 100 index, which started to rise after the reaction purchases in bank stocks on Thursday, gained 2.50 percent and closed the day with 1,426.56 points. Analysts stated that the US and European markets are closed today due to the Easter holiday, while a low volume positive trend can be observed in the domestic market. In addition, it was stated that non-farm employment, unemployment and average hourly earnings data in the March employment report to be announced in the USA will be closely monitored. Technically speaking, analysts say that if the BIST 100 index is sustained above 1.440, the bullish will may be strengthened; 1.390 and 1.340 levels are in support position for possible decreases.
