BIST 100 Index Started The Day With An Increase On October 15

BIST 100 index started the day with an increase on October 15. In Borsa Istanbul, BIST 100 index gained 0.40 percent and started the day with 1,417.45 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which increased by 5.70 points and 0.40 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,417.45 points. While the banking index gained 0.35 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.36 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the most profitable with 0.85 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul diverged negatively from the global stock markets and ended the day at 1,411.75 points with a decrease of 0.13 percent. Analysts stated that a positive course was observed in global markets with the strong financial results announced in the USA and the clarification of the roadmap for monetary policies. Analysts stated that today the statements from the US Federal Reserve (FED) officials will be followed, and on the data agenda, the market participants survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and short-term external debt statistics, retail sales in the USA, New York Fed manufacturing index and the University of Michigan will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.370 stands out as the support and the level of 1.440 is in a position of resistance for the BIST 100 index.
