BIST 100 Index Started the Week With an Increase

BIST 100 index started the week with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul showed an increase of 0.85 percent and started the day with 1.540.22 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 13.04 points and 0.85 percent compared to the previous closing, reached 1.540.22 points. While the banking index gained 0.82 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.56 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 2.41 percent, while the only decline was recorded on sports with 0.01 percent. On the last trading day, the BIST 100 index, which started to decline with the sellers towards the close, lost 0.50 percent and closed the day at 1.527.17 points. Analysts stated that positive news about the $ 1.9 trillion incentive package, which accelerated their work in the USA, was reflected in the markets, and in parallel, there was a positive course in global share markets. It was stated that the data agenda in Turkey is calm today, while it was reported that industrial production in Germany and investor confidence index data in the Eurozone will be monitored abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.550 and 1.570 levels are in the resistance position and the level of 1.505 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
