BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday Horizontally

BIST 100 index started Tuesday horizontally. BIST 100 index gained 0.03 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1,447.49 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 0.41 points and 0.03 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,447.49 points. While the banking index gained 0.09 percent at the opening, the holding index lost 0.02 percent. Among the sector indices, the highest increase was recorded on securities investment partnership with 0.25%, while the most decline was recorded on insurance with 0.33%. Yesterday, BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul moved with buyers and finished the day with 1,447.08 points, gaining 0.99 percent value. Analysts stated that a mixed course was followed in global stock markets due to inflationary pressures and uncertainties regarding the future of monetary policies. It is stated that the data agenda is calm in the country today, while the growth in the Euro Zone, ZEW indices in Germany and foreign trade balance data in the USA will be followed abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,390 is in the support position and the level of 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
