BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Decline

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a decline. BIST 100 index lost 0.96 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1.446.85 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which lost 14.06 points and 0.96 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.446.85 points. At the opening, the banking index lost 1.09 percent, while the holding index lost 0.95 percent. While all sector indices started the day with a depreciation, the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 3.75 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which acted with buyers on the first trading day of the week, closed the day at 1,460.90 points with 1.36 percent gain in value. Analysts stated that increasing global inflation concerns reduced the risk appetite, and said that the world stock markets followed a sellers. Today, it was stated that the balance of payments, industrial production index and the summary of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) meeting will be followed domestically, while the ZEW economic expectations index in Germany and the number of vacant jobs in the USA will be monitored abroad. Analysts stated that the level of 1.455 stands out as resistance and the level of 1.420 stands out as support for the BIST 100 Index.
