BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Tuesday with a rise. BIST 100 index gained 0.61 percent in Borsa İstanbul and started the day with 1.382.45 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 8.45 points and 0.61 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.382.45 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 0.44 percent, while the holding index gained 0.25 percent. Among the industry indices, tourism earned the most with 3.62 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on sports with 2.09 percent. On Monday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 2.14 percent with the positive effect of the declining exchange rates and strengthened response purchases and ended the day with 1,374.00 points. Analysts reminded that the data agenda in the country is calm today, while the US housing price index, consumer confidence index and Richmond Fed manufacturing industry index data will be closely monitored abroad. After the Bank of Japan did not change the interest and monetary policy, analysts said that the US Federal Reserve (FED) interest rate decision to be announced tomorrow and the evaluations of FED Chairman Jerome Powell are expected, and the course of commodity prices and the announced company financial results will also be determinant on investor decisions. In technical terms, analysts stated that the 1.300-1.310 band is in the support position for the BIST 100 index, and a persistence of over 1.400 points will be sought in order for possible increases to gain strength.
