BIST 100 Index Started Tuesday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started tuesday with a rise. BIST 100 index gained 0.37 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1.457.48 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 5.30 points and 0.37 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.457.48 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 0.49 percent, while the holding index gained 0.35 percent. Securities investment trusts were the most profitable among industry indices with 0.74 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 0.24 percent. BIST 100 index gained 0.02 percent in Borsa Istanbul, which moved calmly yesterday, and ended the day with 1,452.18 points. Analysts said that the macroeconomic data, which exceeded expectations, and the statements of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) officials, which calmed inflationary concerns, support the purchase-heavy course in global stock markets. Today, analysts stated that the data agenda, especially the manufacturing industry capacity utilization rate and real sector confidence index in the country, growth in Germany and the consumer confidence index in the USA will be followed and said that the statements of the officials of the central banks of the developed countries and the EU Leaders Summit will be on the focus of investors. In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.440 and 1.390 are in support and the level of 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
