BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With A Record

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with a record. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,808.67 points with an increase of 1.35 percent.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 24.11 points and 1.35 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,808.67 points. Thus, the index recorded an all-time high at the opening. While the banking index gained 0.70 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 1.28 percent. Among the sector indices, the main metal industry gained the most with 2.55 percent, while the most decline was recorded on tourism with 0.18 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased its value by 1.66 compared to the previous closing, raising the closing record to 1,784.56 points. Analysts stated that a mixed course was followed in the stock markets, with the concern that the increasing inflation pressure around the world may cause the supportive monetary policies to be removed from the implementation earlier than expected. It was stated that today, the meeting minutes of the US Federal Reserve (FED) and the third quarter growth of the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.820 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.720 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
