BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With An Increase

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with an increase. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.92 percent and started the day with 1,413.12 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 12.90 points and 0.92 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.413.12 points. At the opening, the banking index gained 1.26 percent, while the holding index gained 0.90 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 1.29 percent, while the only decline was recorded on sports with 0.51 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul ended the day at 1,400.22 points with a loss of 3.58 percent due to the breakdown of 1,440 support, accelerated the fall in stock prices and the negative impact of the rise in exchange rates. Analysts stated that the global stock markets remained mixed due to the uncertainties and inflation concerns regarding the recovery in the economies after the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, following the sales course yesterday, response purchases in the domestic markets increased their effect at the opening today. Reminding that the data agenda is calm today, analysts stated that internal dynamics will come to the fore in the markets and the speeches of US Federal Reserve officials will be followed. In technical terms, analysts pointed out that sector and region-based divergences could continue, and stated that the level of 1.390 stands out as support and the level of 1.470 stands out as resistance for the BIST 100 index.
