BIST 100 Index Started Wednesday With An Increase

BIST 100 index started Wednesday with an increase. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 0.18 percent and started the day with 1,349.22 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.38 points and 0.18 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,349.22 points. While the banking index gained 0.13 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.10 percent. Among the sector indices, sports with 0.88 percent earned the most, while the most decline was recorded on construction with 0.30 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which acted with sellers yesterday, lost 0.75 percent and closed the day with 1,346.84 points. Analysts stated that the importance of the presentation to be made by the Chairman of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) Jerome Powell at the Financial Services Committee of the House of Representatives has increased after the inflation data announced in the USA yesterday exceeded expectations, and expressed that the messages to be given may cause volatility in the markets. In addition, it was stated that today's CBRT Monetary Policy Committee meeting is in the focus of investors. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.320 stands out as support and the level of 1.400 is in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
