BIST 100 Launched the Day with Rise

BIST 100 index started the day with rising in Borsa Istanbul. The BIST 100 index, which increased by 0.66 percent at the opening of the day, reached 118,815.56 points. The index gained 773.56 points. Banking index increased by 0.48 percent and holding index increased by 0.66 percent. While all sector indices open the day with rising; tourism was the biggest winner with 3.30 percent. BIST 100 index has seen 120,585,55 points yesterday and this level has been recorded as the highest level since February 17. Then, with the increase in the effect of profit sales, it decreased and closed the day with a score of 118.02,00, losing 1.04 percent compared to the previous closing. Analysts stated that the news flow for coronavirus (Covid-19) treatment and geopolitical developments, especially in the Eastern Mediterranean, have remained on the agenda, and the data agenda is weak today. Technically, analysts stated that the 117,000 level is the important support for the BIST 100 index, and 121,000 points stand out as resistance.
