BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which started April with 1.399 points with an increase of 0.55 percent, saw the highest point 1.415 in the first half of the day.
In terms of indices, the highest increase was on the BIST Leasing and Factoring with a 5% premium on the first trading day of April. The index showed the highest increase in March, and the year-to-date yield approached 50%.
BIST Banks started the new month well and rose to 1,105 points with a 2% premium today, leading to the decline by losing 20% in March. The index, which is on the rise today, was traded at its lowest levels in the last 6 months and the loss at the beginning of the year was 30%. Accordingly, a recovery towards 1.350 points is required in the short term in order to reduce losses in the index. Today, BIST Industry has reached 2,645 points with a gain close to 2% and the index has increased its earnings per year to 13%.
