BIST 100 Started The Week With An Increase

BIST 100 started the week with an increase. BIST 100 index gained 0.07 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1.423.09 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 1.03 points and 0.07 percent compared to the previous close, rose to 1,423.09 points. While the banking index gained 0.12 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.20 percent. While real estate investment partnership was the highest earner with 2.02% among the sector indices, the biggest decline was recorded on trade with 0.90%. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index closed the last trading day of the last week, which was a buyer, at 1,422.06 points with a 0.50 percent gain. Analysts stated that despite the increasing sales pressure in Asia with the macroeconomic data that fell short of expectations, a positive trend was dominant at the opening of the domestic markets before the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data to be announced today. It was stated that the markets in the USA and England will be closed today due to public holidays, and the domestic GDP and inflation in Germany are prominent on the data agenda. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1.390 is in the support position, and that the resistance above the level of 1.440 should be maintained in order for the upward trend to gain momentum in the BIST 100 index.
