Progressive Care has announced that it has started accepting BTC payments for coronavirus tests.
Alan Jay Weisberg, the CEO and President of Progressive Care, stated that new decisions were taken to meet the needs of foreign tourists coming to the country due to the decrease in the use of cash with the coronavirus epidemic, and said:
“We want to expand our rapid COVID-19 testing solutions services to those who prefer to pay with Bitcoin. This is an excellent alternative for tourists coming to our country from abroad. We are happy to invite Bitcoin holders to our clinics for their COVID-19 testing needs.”
The COVID-19 Rapid Test is offered by PharmcoRx, a subsidiary of Progressive Care. PharmcoRx is known as the first pharmacy to offer crypto payment option in pharmacy services space in 2018.
This decision by Progressive Care was taken before the
Bitcoin 2021 conference, the world's largest crypto event that started on June 5th. With this event, the company expects to attract more than 50 thousand visitors to Pharmco's main market.
