BitMart CEO made a statement about the hack. Sheldon Xia evaluated the $150 million hit.

Sheldon Xia, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMart, which was attacked by a large-scale cyber attack for a short time, made a statement about the $150 million profiteering. Sheldon Xia, CEO of Bitmart, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, published an update on the subject on Monday. Xia also added that Bitmart will gradually activate withdrawals and deposits, and transactions will resume as of December 7. On the other hand, cybersecurity company Peckshield, who first announced the cyber attack, said that it used the decentralized cryptocurrency exchange 1inch to convert the stolen funds into ETH, and then concealed its identity using Tornado Cash mixer services.
