Borsa Istanbul breaks a record in the first half of the day. In
Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.73 percent in the first half of the day and reached 1,322.65 points. BIST 100 index refreshed its highest level record at 1.327.40.
The BIST 100 index, which was rising in the first half of the day, increased by 9.64 points at 1 pm compared to its previous closing and reached 1,322.65 points. The total transaction volume was recorded as 15.6 billion liras.
The banking index lost 0.41 percent in the first half of the day, while the holding index gained 1.18 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the highest earning with 5.01 percent while the biggest loss was on the metal main industry and securities investment partnership with 0.42 percent.
In the first half of the day, BIST 100 index recorded an all-time high with 1,327.40 points in the leadership of transportation and mining shares.
Analysts said the BIST 100 Index continued the positive trend after the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT)’s interest rate decision yesterday.
In the second half of the day, it was reported that the domestic data agenda was stagnant, and the statements of consumer confidence index in the Eurozone and European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde will be monitored.
From a technical point of view, analysts stated that the
BIST 100 index is 1.330 points of resistance and 1.300 is support.
