Borsa Istanbul Started The Day With An Increase
Borsa Istanbul started the day with an increase. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased 0.85 percent and started the day with 1.505.09 points.
At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 12.63 points and 0.85 percent compared to its previous closing, reached 1.505.09 points.
At the opening, the banking index gained 0.74 percent, while the holding index gained 1.46 percent. Among the industry indices, metal goods and machinery gained the most with 1.35 percent, while the only loss was recorded on tourism with 0.45 percent.

Borsa Istanbul increased by 1.29 percent to 1,492.45 points. On the foreign exchanges, the dollar/TL rate saw its lowest level in almost 6 months yesterday with 7.1562. The USD/TL exchange rate started today with a stable course.
Analysts said that the expectations for the financial stimulus package, which were immediately continued in the USA, and the developments in the supply of vaccines in Europe, reflected positively on the global stock markets. It was also emphasized that the developments regarding the stimulus package and the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic in the USA remained at the center of the agenda and determined the direction of the markets.
Indicating that the domestic data agenda is stable today, analysts stated that the growth in the Eurozone and the statements of the US Central Bank officials will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.430 is the support and 1.525 is resistance in the
BIST 100 index.
