Tesla founder Elon Musk announced that the electric car manufacturer stopped Bitcoin payments due to its carbon footprint, and a statement came from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, one of the important names in the cryptocurrency universe. Garlinghouse, who previously criticized cryptocurrency for the energy spent, said the following regarding Musk's explanation; “We cannot deny that there is such a problem. Evaluating Tesla's decision on his social media account, Garlinghouse said: “We don't need to think too deeply about this issue. Few people changed the world as Elon Musk did. There is no doubt that BTC will remain in our lives, but denying that there is a problem will not enable us to solve that problem.
