Breaking News: Raise to Gasoline Prices According to the breaking news, a raise gasoline prices is coming. The new prices will be valid from midnight tonight. According to the information given by the Energy Petrol Gas Supply Stations Employer Union (EPGİS), the price of gasoline per liter will be increased by 0.37 TL. The new gasoline prices will be reflected on the pump from midnight tonight. With the new price hike, the price of gasoline sold in Ankara for an average of 6.71 lira will be 7.08 lira per liter. While the liter of gasoline will increase from 6.69 lira to 7.06 lira in Istanbul, it will increase from 6.75 lira to 7.12 lira in Izmir.   How Are Fuel Prices Calculated? Fuel prices are calculated by the refineries via inclusion of processed products in Mediterranean which includes Turkey and changes in the US dollar rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may vary slightly according to companies and cities due to their competition and freedom.
