Oil prices continue to slide on concerns that rising energy costs in the US will boost inflation and expectations that more crude will be released from the US strategic oil reserve.
The appreciation of the dollar in all global markets also plays a role in the decline in prices.
In its monthly oil market report, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries announced that daily crude oil production increased by 220,000 barrels in October compared to the previous month, and rose to approximately 27 million 450 thousand barrels.
According to the report, global oil supply increased by 1 million 740 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous month and reached approximately 97 million 560 thousand barrels last month.
