Budget Deficit of 24.2 Billion TL in January
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced that it had a budget deficit of 24.2 billion TL in January this year.
In the statement made by the
Ministry of Treasury and Finance, it was reported that the central government budget balance, which had a deficit of 21.5 billion lira in January 2020, gave a deficit of 24.2 billion lira in January this year. The primary balance, on the other hand, had a deficit of 2.21 billion liras in the same month.
The central government budget posted a deficit of 24.3 billion TL in January 2021.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance shared the central government budget realizations for January. According to the data announced, the primary balance had a deficit of 2.21 billion TL in January 2021.
In January, budget revenues were recorded as 89.6 billion TL, while budget expenditures were recorded as 113.8 billion TL.
When the expenditures items are analyzed, interest expenditures were recorded as 21 billion 943 million TL and non-interest expenditures as 91 billion 820 million TL.
Looking at the revenues, 79 billion 227 million TL revenue was obtained from taxes, while general budget non-tax revenues were 8 billion 901 million TL.
In January 2020, the central government
budget had a surplus of 21.5 billion TL. In the same period, the primary balance was recorded as a surplus of 34.3 billion TL.
In the same period, budget expenditures were realized as 100.7 billion TL, while budget revenues were announced as 122.2 billion TL. Tax revenues in revenues were recorded as 67.4 billion TL.
