Ceiling Price Application In Fuel Is Coming To An End
The ceiling price application for fuel in Turkey is coming to an end. The application which was subject to criticism by the sector representatives has been brought to the court.
The ceiling price application will end on May 19 at 11:59 pm and prices will be determined in free market conditions as before the application.
As a result of the decision taken by the
Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), the ceiling price application, which has been maintained for 2 months in the fuel sector, will end on Tuesday night.
Ceiling price application came into effect on March 18.
With the ceiling price decision, there was a discount between 0.17 and 0.20 TL in fuel, and in some cities, the discounts went up to 0.40 TL.
According to the current
ceiling price table, the price per liter of gasoline was the highest 7.07 lira on the European Side of Istanbul, 6.43 lira per liter of diesel, and the highest price per liter of gasoline on the Anatolian side was 7.09 lira and that of diesel was 6.45 lira.
While the gasoline was determined as 7.15 lira per liter and diesel was 6.51 lira per liter in Ankara, the highest price per liter of gasoline in Izmir was 7.16 lira and the liter of diesel was 6.52 lira.
