Ceiling Price In Fuel Increased

The ceiling price in fuel increased. EMRA made a new change in the ceiling price chart.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) made a new change in the price difference chart for the determination of fuel prices to be applied for two months in 81 provinces. With the amendment made in the EMRA's decision on the determination of the fuel price to be applied for two months on March 17, the ceiling price in fuel rose. According to the decision taken, the difference, which was previously announced as 0,06 TL per liter in Ankara, was revised as 0,08 TL. While the price difference increased from 0,01 TL to 0,02 TL in the Anatolian side of Istanbul, the difference from 0,09 TL in Izmir did not change and remained as 0,09 TL. In the previous statement made by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), it was stated that it was decided to apply a ceiling price in order to protect the consumers, to maintain the sustainable and competitive structure of the sector and not to repeat the emerging "profit shenanigans".
