China Continues Coal Production at Full Speed
China announced that its coal production reached 3.32 billion tons in the first 9 months, up 11.2 percent year-on-year.

China is in full swing. In the January-September period of 2022, coal production increased compared to the same period last year.
According to Xinhua, the National Bureau of Statistics said that coal production in the January-September period reached 3.32 billion tons, up 11.2 percent year-on-year.
It is noted that coal production has been increased this year in the country, which experienced electricity shortages due to the decrease in coal supply in the fall of last year.
Daily coal production reached an average of 12 million 890 thousand tons in September, exceeding the high level recorded in November last year. Daily
production reached 12 million 50 thousand tons on November 10, 2021, the highest levels recorded until that day.
Shanxi province, the country's largest production center, produced 977.91 million tons of coal in the first 9 months, with output up 10.5 percent year-on-year. Coal-fired power plants in the province provided 105.35 billion kilowatt hours of electricity to other regions, up 14.6 percent year-on-year.
