China is Backing Applications Banned by USA
China announced that it is backing the applications banned by the USA. In a statement made by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, it was reported that the necessary measures will be taken to protect the rights of companies that are the developers of mobile applications banned by Donald Trump.
Speaking on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying recalled that
US President Donald Trump has banned eight China-based mobile apps, and that necessary measures will be taken to protect the legitimate rights of these companies.
Trump signed a resolution banning eight software applications named "CamScanner, QQ Wallet, SHAREit, Tencent QQ, VMate, WeChat Pay and WPS Office", including Ant Group's Alipay mobile payment app on Tuesday.
Following this decision, tensions between the Washington and Beijing administrations escalated shortly before elected President Joe Biden took office.
On the other hand, it was pointed out in the news in the American press that the
Trump administration, whose term of office expires on January 20, will accelerate its moves to ban the relevant practices before this date.
