Chang'e-5 research plans to collect fragments to provide scientists with information about the Moon's formation and properties.
If the mission is successful, China will be registered as the third country that can collect parts from the Moon, after the USA and the Soviet Union.
China's research ship will begin its journey in the coming days. Within the scope of the mission, close to 2 kilograms of samples will be collected from previously untouched places called Oceanus Procellarum.
China made its first Moon debut in 2013. Then, in January 2019, with the Chang'e-4 research, he managed to go to the other side of the Moon, where no country has gone before.
China's next step is to collect samples from Mars in 2030.
