Exports of European Countries Increased
Stating that citrus provides significant input to the country's economy, National Citrus Council Chairman Kemal Kaçmaz pointed out that the market network will be expanded in 2021 and said:
“The most important aspect of our sector is that it provides net foreign exchange inflow to our country. On the other hand, we also make a significant contribution to employment. Therefore, we can express that we are the most important group in the agricultural sector. We do not have problems in terms of quality. In particular, the increase in our exports to European countries outside of our traditional markets is due to our quality production, packaging and a good logistics infrastructure.”
