Consumer Confidence Increased in March

Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) and the
Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), increased by 2.5 percent in March compared to the previous month; The index, which was 84.5 in February, became 86.7 in March.
Financial Condition of the Household Index Increased
Compared to the 12-month period last month, the financial situation index of the household was 66.3 in February, it increased 1.4 percent in March and was recorded as 67.3.
While the index of financial situation expectation of households for the next 12 months was 84.5 in February, it increased by 4.0 percent in March and was recorded as 87.9.
General Economic Situation Expectations Index Increased
While the general economic situation expectations index for the next 12 months was 91.7 in February, it increased by 2.5 percent in March and was recorded as 94.1.
Compared to the previous 12-month period, the index of spending on durable goods in the next 12 months, which was 95.5 in February, increased by 2.0 percent in March and was recorded as 97.4.
