Consumer Confidence Index Increased 3.2 Percent in September The consumer trend survey conducted jointly by TURKSTAT and CBRT was announced. Accordingly, the consumer confidence index increased by 3.2 percent in September. Results of consumer trend survey, conducted with collaboration of Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), recorded as 82.0 with an increase of 3.2 percent in September compared to the previous month which was 79.4, The consumer confidence index, calculated according to the pre-update situation, increased by 3.7 percent in September compared to the previous month; while the index was 59.6 in August, it was recorded as 61.8 in September.   Financial situation index of the household became 71.8 Compared to the last 12 months, the financial situation index of the household in the current period was 67.9 in August, and increased by 5.8 percent in September to 71.8.   Financial situation expectation index of the household became 79.1 The financial situation expectation index of households for the next 12 months, which was 77.8 in August, increased by 1.7 percent in September and reached 79.1.   General economic situation expectation index became 83.3 The general economic situation expectation index for the next 12 months increased from 79.5 in August to 83.3 in September, an increase of 4.8 percent.   The index of spending on durable consumption goods became 93.8 Compared to the previous 12-month period, the index of spending on durable goods in the next 12 months, which was 92.6 in August, rose 1.3 percent in September and reached 93.8.
