The Ministry of Health announced the current coronavirus data for Thursday, May 27. The latest data was shared on "covid19.saglik.gov.tr". According to the announced data, 219 thousand 465 tests were carried out today. Total of 8 thousand 426 new coronavirus cases were detected, with 673 people showing symptoms.

183 People Lost Their Lives

According to the announced data, 183 people died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus, and accordingly, the total loss of life increased to 46 thousand 970. With the addition of 13 thousand 102 people whose treatment / quarantine ended today, the total number of recovered patients rose to 5 million 70 thousand 815. Rate of pneumonia in total patients was 3.1 percent, and the total number of severe patients was 504. In Turkey, the bed occupancy rate was 49.1 percent, adult intensive care occupancy rate was 61.9 percent, and the ventilator occupancy rate was 29.9 percent.
