The Ministry of Health announced the current coronavirus data for Thursday, May 20. The latest data was shared on "covid19.saglik.gov.tr". According to the announced data, 219 thousand 192 tests were carried out today. A total of 9,385 new coronavirus cases were detected, with 856 people showing symptoms.

207 People Lost Their Lives

According to the announced data, 207 people died in the last 24 hours due to the coronavirus, accordingly, the total loss of life increased to 45 thousand 626. Today, the total number of healing patients increased to 4 million 989 thousand 787, with the addition of 9 thousand 271 recovered people whose treatment / quarantine ended. It was informed that the rate of pneumonia in total patients was 3.2 percent and the total number of serious patients was 2 thousand 41. The bed occupancy rate across Turkey was 45.5 percent, the adult intensive care occupancy rate was 62.5 percent, and the ventilator occupancy rate was 30.7 percent.
