Coronavirus in Turkey: 288 Casualties!

The coronavirus outbreak is getting worse in Turkey. There were 288 casualties in the last 24 hours, 288 due to coronavirus. The Ministry of Health announced the current coronavirus data for April 17. Current data was shared on "covid19.saglik.gov.tr". According to the announced data, 319 thousand 316 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. A total of 62 thousand 606 people, along with 2 thousand 973 people who showed symptoms, were detected in coronavirus.

288 People Lost Their Lives

According to current data, 288 people died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. With this data, the total loss of life was 35 thousand 608. Today, with 52 thousand 184 recovered people whose treatment/quarantine has finished, the total number of recovered patients has increased to 3 million 643 thousand 734.

Number of Severe Patients Poses a Risk

It was informed that the rate of pneumonia in total patients was 3.3 percent and the total number of severe patients was 3 thousand 240. The bed occupancy rate across Turkey was 56.7 percent, the adult intensive care occupancy rate was 68.8 percent, and the ventilator occupancy rate was 34.9 percent.

289 People Died Yesterday

According to the April 16 data announced by the Ministry of Health, 289 people died. A total of 63 thousand 82 cases were detected with 2 thousand 915 new patients yesterday and 56 thousand 510 people regained their health.
