The Ministry of Health announced the coronavirus data for April 14. Current data was shared on "covid19.saglik.gov.tr". According to the announced data, a total of 310 thousand 420 tests were carried out today. A total of 62 thousand 797 new coronavirus cases were detected, with 2 thousand 802 people showing symptoms.

Number of Deaths Broke a Record

According to the announced data, 279 people died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. Accordingly, the total loss of life increased to 34 thousand 734. With 279 casualties announced today, the highest number of casualties in a day was reached. There were 276 casualties on April 7 before. With 55 thousand 413 people recovering today, the total number of patients recovering has increased to 3 million 480 thousand 146.

Number of Severe Patients Increased

It was informed that the rate of pneumonia in total patients was 3.3 percent and the total number of serious patients was 3 thousand 18. The bed occupancy rate across Turkey was 56.7 percent, the adult intensive care occupancy rate was 68.8 percent, and the ventilator occupancy rate was 34.9 percent.

273 People Lost Their Lives Yesterday

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health yesterday, 273 people died and 59 thousand 187 new coronavirus cases were detected.
