According to the news compiled by Vogue Business; Gucci will begin accepting Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and some cryptocurrencies at select locations in North America. Customers will be able to pay with cryptocurrencies with the help of a QR code.
The brand also announced that it will provide cryptocurrency and NFT training to its employees prior to the launch of the program to prepare for this new venture.
Making a statement on the subject, Marco Bizzarri, President and CEO of Gucci, stated that Gucci is always open to adopting new technologies.
