Cyber Attack on BEEPLE's Twitter Account. The Twitter account of artist Mike Winkelmann, also known as BEEPLE, has been the target of hackers. A fake link was shared from the artist's account to a website collaborating with fashion designer Louis Vuitton. The first statement confirming that this was a cyberattack came from Harry.ETH, a security researcher from MetaMask/MyCrypto, "Beeple's Twitter account was hacked in order to run a phishing website to steal money." It was discovered that some users who clicked on the link had ETH withdrawn from their wallets. Louis Vuitton presented BEEPLE and NFT works as a reward for a game called Louis: The Game.
