Data Of Trezor Users May Have Been Leaked
The data of Trezor users, one of the most well-known hardware-based cryptocurrency wallets, may have been leaked.
Trezor, which has made a name for itself by offering hardware-based
wallet solutions in the cryptocurrency world, is on the agenda this time with a cyber attack. Many Trezor users claim that their data has been leaked.
The complaints that started to increase on Twitter caused the attention to be turned to the
Trezor initiative. Users reported that phishing mails were sent to their registered e-mail addresses and passwords were attempted to be stolen.
While the Trezor initiative also confirms the leak, it states that the incident was a leak on the side of MailChimp, which provides mail subscription. It is stated that a company trying to trade by informing the internal developments in advance has accessed the MailChimp database.
Trezor has launched an investigation to determine the total amount of stolen email addresses. In order not to experience any grievances, it is requested that e-mails that direct to different addresses should not be respected.
