Day Ended With Records In Stock Market
The day ended with records in the stock market. The BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul increased by 1.06 percent and closed the day with 1,505.42 points. BIST 100 index, which recorded the highest closing of all time with this level, brought its highest score to the level of 1.509.49.
At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 15.86 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 34.6 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index gained 3.15 percent, while the holding index gained 0.55 percent. Among the industry indices, sports were the most profitable with 8.20 percent, while mining was the most declining with 1.10 percent.
With the positive reflection of the continuation of the decline in exchange rates, the BIST 100 index made the highest closing of all time with 1,505.42 points, and carried its highest level record to 1,509.49 points. The Dollar/TL exchange rate saw the lowest level since August 28, 2020, at 7.2869.
Analysts stated that global markets are focusing on the results of the election held in the US state of Georgia, and that the meeting of the US Federal Reserve to be released this evening are also on the agenda.
Indicating that the data agenda in the country is stable tomorrow, analysts stated that the data agenda will be followed abroad, especially inflation and consumer confidence index in the Eurozone and the ISM non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in the USA.
On the technical side, analysts stated that the
BIST 100 index is at 1.520 resistance, and 1.470 and 1.450 points are in support position.
