Deadline for Tax Restructuring Submissions

Deadline for tax restructuring submissions. A collection of 3 billion 678 million TL was made in return for the structured receivables.

Deadline for tax restructuring submissions. The last 3 days left for the applications to be made within the scope of the regulation issued for the restructuring of taxes and some other receivables. However, it has been stated that until today, 105 million 712 million lira receivables have been restructured. The number of taxpayers who applied to tax offices in order to benefit from the law reached 7 million 379 thousand. In this context, it was learned that 8 million 770 thousand applications were processed. Since the enactment of the law, 105 million 712 million lira receivables have been restructured, while 3 billion 678 million lira has been collected in return for receivables.   Duration Will Not Be Extended Citizens who want to benefit from the provisions of the restructuring law put into effect on February 17, 2020, must apply to the relevant tax offices until the end of working hours on Monday, February 1, 2021. These applications, can be made through the web page of the Revenue Administration "www.gib.gov.tr", via the e-government page “www.turkiye.gov.tr", in person in the tax office or via mail. While the last 3 days are entered in the applications, it is not possible to extend this period legally. For this reason, it is very important for citizens to make their applications without waiting for the last day in order to avoid crowding in the tax offices due to the coronavirus epidemic.   Last Day for the Payments is March 1 Although the taxpayers who applied to the tax offices and restructured the debts preferred to pay the first installments in cash, they are expected to make cash payments by March 1, 2021 at the latest. If the structured debts are paid until March 1, 90 percent of the calculated D-PPI amount and 25 percent of the original administrative fines will be reduced. Taxpayers will be able to make their payments by credit or debit cards through the Interactive Tax Office or through contracted banks.
