Documentation requirement was introduced for 40 professions. Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) announced the details on the subject.

The Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK), which is responsible for ensuring the harmony between education and employment, has introduced requirements for 40 more professions. In 143 occupations in the "dangerous" and "very dangerous" classes in the high risk group in terms of occupational accidents, the institution, which has the condition of certified employees, has imposed a document requirement for 40 more professions with the contribution of its stakeholders.

Deadline Is April 10, 2022

According to the decision taken, especially professions in the mining and energy sectors; Those who do not have a Vocational Competence Certificate will not be able to work in these 40 occupations, including electrical installers, electricity and natural gas meter disassembly and assembly personnel, cement production personnel, marble natural stone quarry and underground preparation workers.

Documents Were Given to 1 Million 575 Thousand Employees

As of April 2021, MYK has given Vocational Qualification Certificates to 1 million 575 thousand employees, 1 million 366 thousand of whom are in the professions requiring certification.
