The dollar / TL exchange rate, which closed the last week at 7.6232 with a loss, experienced a slight increase in the first days of the new week. The exchange rate was below its 100-day moving average last week.
USD / TL increased 0.2 percent at 10.10 TSI and traded at 7.6713 level. Euro / TL did not change much and was traded at the level of 9.3743. The currency basket was recorded as 8.5120.
On the other hand, the dollar rose against important market currencies due to the concerns about the coronavirus mutation, which is tried to be controlled in the UK in global markets, with quarantine and travel restrictions. The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index (BBDXY) gained 0.23 percent to 1,128.54 points.
Despite the concerns caused by the mutation of the coronavirus in global markets, progress is being made in the coronavirus support package in the USA and developments regarding the vaccine are also happening.
After the CARES law, which includes coronavirus supports, government spending and tax exemptions, the second largest
support package in US history was passed by the Senate after the House of Representatives.
