Dow Jones Futures Soar As Tesla Increases 4%
Dow Jones futures soared early Tuesday after Monday's technology-driven stock market rally, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures.
Home Depot and Walmart recorded strong earnings reports early Tuesday. While Nvidia and Tesla rose to new highs with price-target increases on Monday, Dow Jones leader Apple also set an all-time high.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 1% on Monday, closing at its all-time high. The S&P 500 rose 0.3%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3% or 86 points.
Among Dow Jones shares, Apple (AAPL) hit a record high on Monday. Home Depot (HD) rose 3% with strong results, while Walmart (WMT) surged 6% early Tuesday before cutting gains sharply.
IBD Leaderboard shares rose to new highs with Nvidia (NVDA) and Tesla (TSLA) advances of 6.7% and 11.2%. Earlier on Tuesday, Tesla went up another 4% to reach its all-time high.
Top stocks close to purchasing regions include Adobe (ADBE), IBD Stock of the Day Amazon.com (AMZN), and JD.com (JD). Adobe and Amazon are also IBD Leaderboard shares.
Dow Jones Futures Today
Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures rose 0.2% at fair value, while S&P 500 futures rose 0.2%. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.35% to fair value.
